1. Who we are
This website is operated by Retronax Pte. Ltd., a private company limited by shares incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202636213W), with its registered office at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. In this policy, “Retronax”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that company.
We are the organisation responsible for personal data collected through this website under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through retronax.com and through email sent to the addresses published on it.
It does not cover the individual applications we publish. Each product we distribute carries its own privacy notice, presented in the application and on its store listing, which describes the data that product collects. Where the two differ, the product’s own notice governs that product.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you send us
If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to put in your message. Typically this is your name, your email address, and the content of the enquiry itself. You decide what to include, and you do not have to provide personal data in order to read this website.
Technical information
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics services, embeds no third party trackers, and builds no profile of you.
Our hosting provider (currently Cloudflare, Inc.) processes standard technical request data on our behalf in order to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. That data can include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser’s user agent string. It is handled by the provider under its own security and retention practices and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.
4. How we use personal data
- To read, consider, and reply to enquiries you send us.
- To keep a record of business correspondence.
- To deliver this website reliably and to keep it secure.
- To comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing, and we do not send marketing email to people who have merely contacted us.
5. Consent and legal grounds
Where the PDPA requires consent, we rely on the consent you give by choosing to contact us, and on the deemed consent that arises when you voluntarily provide personal data for an obvious purpose such as receiving a reply. We also rely on the exceptions in the PDPA that permit processing for legitimate business purposes, including securing our systems and meeting legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time using the contact details in section 13.
6. Disclosure to others
We disclose personal data only where it is necessary, and only to:
- service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, such as our hosting and email providers;
- professional advisers, such as accountants or legal counsel, where they need it to advise us;
- authorities, regulators, or platform operators where we are required to do so by law or by a binding request.
7. Transfers outside Singapore
Our hosting and email providers operate infrastructure in several countries, so personal data may be processed outside Singapore. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the recipient is bound to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, as section 26 of the Act requires.
8. Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as it serves the purpose it was sent for, and afterwards only for as long as a legal, accounting, or business record requires. When neither reason applies any longer, we delete it.
9. Security
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. This site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed, ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete, and withdraw consent to our continued use of it.
Write to main@retronax.com and we will respond within the timeframe the PDPA sets. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
11. Children
This website is directed at a general business audience and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always the one published here.
